Separate the wall from its finish
Wood shed can describe several assemblies. Ask whether the visible surface is timber boards, a wood-based siding panel or a separate cladding over another wall. Record the product name and finish rather than simply writing wood in a specification.
A render is useful for comparing color and texture. It cannot identify concealed framing, treatment, panel thickness or the way the base is supported. Keep those questions with the actual supplier's specification.
Look at the places you will touch and change
Compare door operation, the threshold and where shelves could go. Ask which parts are intended to accept fixings and what alterations the supplier allows. A wall that looks convenient for hanging tools is not evidence of a suitable fixing point.
For a workshop, distinguish the lining you see from the structure behind it. In a garden store, consider how muddy tools and damp pots will be handled without assuming that a chosen coating solves the whole moisture problem.
Keep a condition record
Inspect the coating, lower wall edges and areas exposed to water. Keter's wood-care guidance highlights deteriorating finishes and signs of decay; use the actual coating and shed maker's instructions to decide the appropriate remedy.
Photograph the same areas over time. Record when marks appear, recent weather and what has changed around the shed. Repainting should follow diagnosis of the surface and moisture source, rather than concealing an unexplained problem.
When comparing two wood sheds
Put the specifications side by side: wall construction, supplied finish, door opening, floor inclusion, base requirements and maintenance conditions. Two similar photographs can represent different products and different amounts of work after delivery.
Keep these questions with your project.

These references support the questions above. For product-specific work, use the selected manufacturer’s current instructions.
Manufacturer guidance on cleaning and condition checks. Keter sells resin sheds; its product claims are not universal material guarantees.
Wood structural-panel moisture guidance; not approval of a particular shed assembly.
Care and alteration guidance for Tuff Shed buildings. Product and warranty conditions apply to that manufacturer.
