Evidence and attribution

Know what each planning result is based on.

Definitions, your measurements, published guidance and example assumptions play different roles. A source supports the specific claim listed with it; it does not approve a whole design.

Four kinds of evidence

A · Deterministic calculation
Nominal area, rectangle boundaries, reserved-space overlap and supported route geometry, calculated from the stated inputs.
B · Your measurements
Values you supply for the exact equipment, building or site you are considering. They are not independently verified by this website.
C · Published source
Attributed guidance or specifications, limited to the topic, product and conditions covered by the source.
D · Planning assumption
Authored reference dimensions and allowances. They remain examples until replaced with information applicable to your project.

Measurement standards, animal shelter and safety

Measurement standards

NIST Handbook 133 (2026), chapter 3

Supported claim and scope: A cord is 128 cubic feet of stacked wood. This supports volume conversion only, not cover design or seasoning performance.

Source checked: 2026-09-07. Public source review; no expert endorsement implied.

Related reference planners: Firewood

Animal shelter

University of Minnesota: Horse dry lots and shelters

Supported claim and scope: General 72–144 sq ft shelter range per average horse assumes a compatible herd. Larger or incompatible horses need separate review. Dry-lot area is a separate requirement.

Source checked: 2026-09-07. Public source review; no expert endorsement implied.

Related reference planners: Horse run-in shelter

Oklahoma State: Housing and Corrals, chapter 12

Supported claim and scope: Page 75: 10–15 sq ft bedding per mature goat in open housing. Do not extend this to young, mixed, enclosed or kidding arrangements.

Source checked: 2026-09-07. Public source review; no expert endorsement implied.

Related reference planners: Goat shelter

Pool chemical safety

CDC Pool Chemical Safety

Supported claim and scope: Chemical storage requires separate review. Ordinary pool storage diagrams exclude chemicals, pumps and plumbing.

Source checked: 2026-09-07. Public source review; no expert endorsement implied.

Authored planning assumptions

Reference interiors, door openings, equipment sizes and reserved spaces are deliberately visible examples. Matching a nominal size does not identify a manufacturer model. Each assumption below states where it is used.

10 by 12 reference shell planning assumption

Temporary migration record for the first V3 reference shell.

Derived from legacy planning data; not a manufacturer specification.

12 by 16 reference shell planning assumption

Temporary migration record for the comparison reference shell.

Derived from legacy planning data; not a manufacturer specification.

8 by 10 reference shell planning assumption

Temporary migration record for a legacy planning shell.

Derived from legacy planning data; not a manufacturer specification.

10 by 10 reference shell planning assumption

Editable reference geometry for a general 10 by 10 planning shell.

Authored planning assumption; not a manufacturer specification.

12 by 20 reference shell planning assumption

Temporary migration record for a legacy draft shell.

Derived from legacy planning data; not a manufacturer specification.

Representative riding mower planning assumption

Editable example dimensions for first-run planning only.

A representative example, not a product specification or universal mower dimension.

Representative planning object library

Editable example dimensions and clearances for first-launch planning scenarios.

Representative planning examples only; users must replace them with their own measurements.

V5 expansion shell planning assumptions

Authored interior, height and clear-opening examples for 8x12, 12x12, 10x20 and 12x20 planning templates. These are not product specifications.

Authored planning assumptions only; users must replace them with product specifications or measurements.

Current equipment assumptions

These representative footprints feed the specialized planners directly. Dimensions are width × length in inches. The compact potting surface is a different example from the legacy full-size potting bench. Replace dimensions with the actual assembled product and its operating requirements.

What a geometry result does not establish

Workshop and gym results test the shown arrangement and its reserved rectangles. A limited search that fails to place a fixture does not prove that every layout fails. Individual equipment operation, structural loading, services, climate and local approval require information beyond this model. Bike translation routes do not simulate steering or lifting. Greenhouse allocation does not establish environmental separation or growing performance.

Reference cases and corrections

Current cases are authored measurements and reproducible calculations, not customer build outcomes. No measured customer result, supplier price or before-and-after claim is published without its evidence and permission. Price totals use your own quotes.
